Pastries With Teeth announce the December 15th release date for their highly anticipated debut album, EATEN ALIVE. Contrasting the sounds of broken beats, dirty bass, and orchestral arrangement, the album marks the band’s ambition to bend genres and push the limits of electronic music.

Three tracks were specifically composed for En Fin, a live performance combining modern ballet and cutting edge electronic music. The group performed alongside Phoenix Contemporary Dance Company for two sold out shows at the Herberger Theatre in October of 2012. In addition to their major success at the Herberger Theatre, Pastries With Teeth also performed at Identity Festival alongside artists such as Calvin Harris, Eric Prydz, and Le Castle Vania.

Sean Dhalberg, artistic director of Phoenix Contemporary Dance Company, hailed the group as, “Honest, dirty inspiration! Pastries With Teeth is the cigarette you have after making love! Genius!” More details on EATEN ALIVE will be released in the coming weeks, as will details for a Spring 2013 US tour.

about

Pastries With Teeth Phoenix, Arizona

PWT, is a live EDM group drawing influence from groups such as The Glitch Mob, and Gesaffelstein.

PWT formed after Phoenix Contemporary Dance Co. approached them about writing an original score for a performance in October of 2012.

With an intricate combo of classical violin and dirty pounding bass, PWT drives from laid back grooves to full on raging electro. Prepare to be Eaten Alive!
